One thought gave way to another and yet it was the same thought. She had a beacon in her mind and nothing could lure her away from that focus. People said she was obsessed but she knew of a vision that only she could see. The train in her mind was on track and she loved this roller coaster that was just her own.
This purple dream of a saree in made-in-heaven mul cotton is a must-have!
The handloom cotton is a type of fabric that is woven using hand-operated looms. Two sets of interlacing yarns, the warp (length) and weft (width), are woven on a mechanised loom operated by weavers. These looms do not use electricity. Human handling lends the fabrics a unique feel and renders the fabrics more value. The resultant fabric is softer, more durable and much more comfortable than machine-made fabrics. Handloom cotton is more breathable and thus feels lighter in summers and provides more insulation in winters. The dyeing process also becomes easier for handloom cotton as the colour penetration is substantially more. Hues are absorbed better thus look resplendent on handloom cotton.
The art of hand weaving is labour intensive and takes a longer time. But, the beauty it adds to the fabric is priceless. Choosing handloom cotton supports the rich weaving heritage of India and lets the weavers carry on the precious art-form to the future generations as well.
The zari threads add the golden shimmer to the fabric in a very subtle yet beautiful way.

Nirupa's heart refused to close its doors even to those who didn't reciprocate her kindness. It was this very quality that set her apart, for in a world that often measured worth in terms of reciprocity, Nirupa stood as an unwavering example of unconditional love. She tended to the neglected gardens of elderly neighbours, offered a hand and a smile to those in need, and listened to the stories of the lonely, even when their words lacked gratitude. Her actions flowed from a wellspring of genuine care and her nurturing presence was like a beacon, a reminder that kindness should never be limited by the expectation of return.
Over time, her actions began to soften the hearts of those who initially resisted her love. And so, Nirupa's legacy was not only one of nurturing but also of transformation. It proved that even in a world that sometimes forgets the power of selfless love, this love can ultimately prevail and inspire.
Let your heart radiate kindness when you wear Nurturing Nirupa, a stunning pink and red handwoven Mashru saree. Made of pure silk and cotton, and the finest silver and gold zari, this saree embodies your inner compassion.
This saree has been handwoven by a master weaver in the Mashru tradition. The Mashru weave is said to have originated in West Asia, in the 19th Century. The fabric is woven with a silk weft and a fine cotton warp. It thus combines the ageless comfort of cotton and the timeless aesthetic of silk, elevated by the presence of gold and silver zari.

Blue was the colour of the endless expanse above her. It was the colour of the stream that flowed through the village. It was the colour of blossoms that flooded the valley each spring. It was the colour of the veins that lay under her skin. She felt as though her soul was dipped in a mysterious indigo. That it was one with the land. That she felt the history of her ancestors flow through her body. And that was what inspired her to dedicate her life to this place and its people – they needed someone like her who understood them, to lead them to a better tomorrow. And she felt blessed to be able to essay this tremendous role.
Open your heart to the call of destiny, in this exquisite blue cotton zari saree, woven with hibiscus-themed motifs.

Meera met Nadiya while on a solo trip to the museum. They were both strangers, but that was the extent of their similarities. Nadiya was a theatre artiste, but she preferred the word mime. And the first time Meera saw Nadiya painstakingly apply her face paint, she was taken aback. Why would a perfectly beautiful, vivacious young woman retreat behind such an ungainly mask? As Nadiya explained to her, many weeks later, was that that was the point of the makeup. Its purpose wasn’t to beautify her physical features. It was to amplify what lay beneath them – her emotions. And from Nadiya, Meera learned of the power of the unspoken word. She learned what it meant to truly feel your feelings and not be overwhelmed by them. She learned to step back and admire from a distance. She learned that beauty comes in myriad forms, some of which are unseen to the unknowing mind.
Be bold. Be vibrant. Be you, when you wear this exquisite pink handloom Jamdani saree.
Jamdani is an incredibly intricate weaving technique. Each motif is inlaid into the fabric using a supplementary weft technique. Here, extra weft threads, often denser than the base, are added using individual spools while weaving. This technique makes the motifs appear as though they are floating on the fluid cotton fabric. Jamdani weaving is highly time intensive and it takes anywhere between several weeks to months to weave one saree. It is indeed a labour of love.

It haunted her that she’d been named after a beauty that was so self-obsessed and so all-consuming that none, including its bearer, could withstand it. But perhaps that was the nature of beauty – once identified, it could never be forgotten. Beauty could come in several forms, as she had recently discovered. So famed for their physical attractiveness, a daffodil or the nargis flower, was also an important ingredient of perfumes and of numerous medicines. In certain cultures, it also symbolised new beginnings. Vain to some, a sign of wealth and good fortune to others, like her, her namesake was complex and multi-layered. And no matter which way you interpreted it, it was unmistakably beautiful.
Be your most beautiful self, when you wear this maroon handwoven Jamdani saree that’s embellished with rich gold zari. The saree is made of the softest mul cotton to ensure the most comfortable and figure-flattering wear.

Every year, on Holi, it felt as though the clock had turned back to 50 years ago. You’d see her family string up the same marigold garlands, the cooks preparing the same traditional sweets and the same warmth and chatter enveloping all their living spaces. It was as though only the faces had changed and little else. And that was comforting. Knowing that no matter where life took them and how much the world changed around them, tradition would bring them back and bind them together. This festival would remind them always of what mattered and what was transient.
As memorable as the festival of colours is this gorgeous saree made of mul modal.
The made-in-heaven mul sarees from your wishlist just got dreamier now with the glitter of stars! The process of how they are made is also as endearing as the saree itself. Once we receive the made-in-heaven mul sarees and get a quality check done, these are sent to our superwomen. These women, after finishing household chores and other work for the day, sit together and stitch every single glitter on the saree by hand as Ravindra Sangeeth plays in the background. It takes 3 days to stitch the glitters, after which they make the tassels. Every bit of their joy and love is carried by the saree to reach you!
Nain Surile

Length: 6.40 Meters ; Width: 45 inches
Fabric: Tussar Silk
Note: The mannequin is wearing a blouse called White Eri
The Tussar silk is a material that is synonymous with richness and lush beauty. This material is woven using silk threads obtained from the cocoons of silkworms belonging to the moth genus Antheraea. Since most of these silkworms are found in forest areas, Tussar silk is also known to be a wild silk variety or a forest product. The characteristic features of this material are the deep gold colour that the silk exudes and the amazing texture. This kind of silk is thicker than normal silk but needs to be taken care of and preserved since the fibres are shorter and can result in a decrease in durability. But then, anything precious has to be taken care of, right? The natural sheen of this fabric is inimitable and is perfect for festive occasions as well as when you want the spotlight on you! The magical feel of this fabric combined with the weaving skills of talented weavers results in a fabric that will embrace you and make you shine!
Naghmon Ka Jashn
Blouse: Su, The model is wearing XS size blouse called Sona
It always made her smile how all the womenfolk in her village would gather together and mark the onset of any festival with their joyful tunes – melodies that had been passed down from mother to daughter. The light sway in her grandmother’s hips that only made an appearance when the dhol was struck in a certain way. The laughter and gaiety that spilled from each smile, each conversation and each peal of laughter. The songs they sang were so much more than mere tunes – they wove together folk lore, stories of love and loss, and dreams of a beautiful future. And they held the power to transport her into a world that was, at once, so far and yet so close.
We hope life envelopes you in its most enchanting tunes, when you wear this green handwoven Jamdani saree that’s embellished with elegant gold zari. The saree is made of the softest mul cotton to ensure the most comfortable and figure-flattering wear.

I loved nothing more than my toy racing car as a kid. Then I grew up and bought a real car of my own. What do I feel? Ah well, what do these grown-up things know about that boundless excitement, this privilege that only the completely free mind of a child could afford? Grown-up money could never buy that :)
This teal beauty in a blend of mul and viscose slub is a dream come true!
Viscose is a natural fabric that is made using the viscose fibre. This fibre is extracted using a special process that involves dissolving wood pulp and regenerating it in the form of fibres. Viscose is a manufactured fibre that is made using natural materials and the final product is very similar to naturally occurring fibres such as cotton in terms of look and feel.
For Suta products, viscose fibre as weft is woven with cotton fibre as warp to create a fabric that is a magical blend of the comfort of cotton and the subtle shine of viscose. This fabric feels beautifully soft to the skin.

Thirty was a big number. She was looking forward to and dreading the day in equal measure. She’d never imagined she’d have to face it but now that it was staring her in the face, she knew she couldn’t escape it. Her sisters had insisted on a big party to celebrate this milestone but her heart wanted different. She followed it to the outskirts of the city, where the concrete turned to cobblestone and then packed earth, and the grass grew wild and free. Stopping by the stream, she lay down on the grass and let her body soak in the warmth of the winter sun. She would exit her 20s by herself, her lips stained with the sweet juice of berries and nostalgia. This was the slice of heaven that was all her own, a precious memory that she would carry with her, long after the day had ended.
Reclaim your own slice of heaven in this gorgeous maroon ruffled saree, made of mul cotton and embellished with hand-embroidered chumkis (sequins).
Our ‘made in heaven’ mul cotton is also known as mul mul in West Bengal. The fabric is buttery soft and has a delicate beauty. As the teacher passed by the desk in front of me, I had measured the rhythm of her steps. The mathematician in me calculated how long it will take for her to pass my desk and then turn back to face us. My hands coordinated with the math, drew the exact geometric angle to extend my hand and she calculated the gravity and speed of air to drop the note in my hand.Give me your sambhar rice, do you want my pooris, it read! What expertise it took to be a child and oh how much fun!

My love letter wasn't from a boy. It was from this person who taught me what it meant to be two bodies and one soul. My best friend, she wrote her heart out to me. Her love, her innocence, her dreams, she poured them all into the ink, pausing only to curve that ‘a’ and loop that ‘l’ properly. “It is you I'm writing to, almost as if writing to myself, so it deserves my best handwriting after all” she said!
