Story 

Even as a child, she’d always been the wallflower of her family and friends’ groups. She was the littlest and the most timid. She wasn’t very good at sport, didn’t do too well in the outdoors and was the most comfortable behind her books. She could never be one of the adventurers she read about. Or so she thought. But then she learned that her ancestral home – her grandparents’ legacy – was being usurped by an unscrupulous developer. Alone, she challenged him in court, stood up to his henchmen and refused to back down, no matter how much her foes tried to intimidate her. Like the brave Neerja Bhanot, she looked at danger in the eye and didn’t back down.

Handloom cotton is handwoven by our weavers on mechanical looms. The process is time and labour-intensive, using techniques that have been passed down across generations of artisans. The resultant fabric is extraordinarily soft, breathable and resilient, and also drapes very well. Using handloom cotton not only helps us to work with smaller weavers but also plays an important role in reducing the environmental footprint of the garments we produce. The addition of zari adds a regal sheen to this saree, making it as beautiful as it is comfortable.
